Guitar & Ensemble Institute Sendoff

This week six from Refuge choir are at Guitar & Ensemble Institute at Jesuit Spiritual Center in Milford, Ohio. Sponsored by the National Association for Pastoral Musicians (NPM), G&EI is an annual workshop and retreat for Catholic music ministers. Yesterday morning Refuge choir saw the group off after an early breakfast at Sal's house.

Refuge members who will travel to the annual Guitar & Ensemble Institute gathered at Fred's house for dinner, fellowship and planning.

Pentacost Weekend

Refuge enjoyed much fellowship and music ministry during Pentacost weekend.  We started out by being witness to the blessing of Sal's house by Father Matthias.  Then we enjoyed fellowship dinner and practice in the Refuge room of Sal's house.  On Sunday we sang and played for the Pentacostal Celebration before Mass, then we were music ministry for Pentacost Mass.

First Practice of 2017

Refuge rang in the new year with dinner, fellowship and rehearsal at Sal's house. We celebrated Mike's birthday and welcomed Kate and Nilda to the choir.
